Taylor Jane Green has over 30 years experience in the Mindfulness Wellness arena. She holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Toronto. She is a Registered Spiritual Psychotherapist and a Certified Life Coach with the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners as a graduate of both programs from the esteemed Transformational Arts College in Toronto, completing 1000 hours of class, exam, personal individual and group psychotherapy, and a supervised case study practicum for both programs combined. She is a Certified Hypnotist as a graduate of the honoured Ontario Hypnosis Centre in Toronto.
She has a background in social work training from Renison College at the University of Waterloo, and did chaplaincy internship placements at St Marys Hospital in Kitchener and at Homewood Mental Health Centre in Guelph, as well as volunteering for five years at the former Guelph Community Mental Health Centre. She worked at Homewood Health Centre for Addiction and Mental Health for five years as a volunteer, guest speaker, and as environmental services staff. She has conducted Stress Reduction workshops at Guelph-Wellington Hospice, Canadian Mental Health Association, Family Counselling and Support Centre, and the Aids Action Committee in Guelph.
She has attended extensive training workshops including seminars in Narrative Therapy with Michael White, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with Christine Padesky, Poetry Therapy with John Fox, and Integrative Coaching with Debbie Ford.
She has spoken on Mindfulness Wellness topics in a wide variety of venues in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Kingston, Huntsville, Lindsay, Sudbury, Guelph, Fergus, and Kitchener-Waterloo since 1982.
